I served in my second area for three transfers. In my second transfer, I received a new missionary. I

called him "Elder Stewart". I remember feeling like my companions and I had contacted all of our area. I also remember that I had a really fun time in this area. Elder Stewart and I both had our first Christmas in the mission and celebrated by making a life-size tree (the neighbor kids helped us color it). I remember having a "pizza fast" until we were able to baptize someone (it only took a couple weeks, so it wasn't too bad).

In this area, I s
aw Denis and Sarahi grow stronger testimonies andget baptized.
"We know not all that lies ahead of us. We live in a world of uncertainty. For some, there will be great accomplishment. For others, disappointment. For some, much of rejoicing and gladness, good health, and gracious living. For others, perhaps sickness and a measure of sorrow. We do not know. But one thing we do know. Like the Polar Star in the heavens, regardless of what the future holds, there stands the Redeemer of the world, the Son of God, certain and sure as the anchor of our immortal lives. He is the rock of our salvation, our strength, our comfort, the very focus of our faith."
